Uttarakhand: Today's holiday will be held on Chhath festival, public holiday declared throughout the state

Dehradun. The state government has declared a public holiday on Thursday in Chhatta for the entire state. This order has been issued by Additional Secretary Indundar Bauthi. Bank and Treasury will remain open as before. For the past years, in the four plain districts of Udhamsinghnagar, Dehradun, Haridwar and Nainital, there was a holiday for the Chhath festival.
