Candidates looking for long time for teachers recruitment in Uttar Pradesh can get big relief soon. Proposals have been prepared to fill 68,500 vacancies of teachers in primary schools of the province. The Directorate of Basic Education has sent this proposal to the government too.
After the cancellation of adjustment of 1 lakh, 37 thousand education students in Uttar Pradesh, a large number of teachers have vacated their posts. On the other hand, thousands of candidates are already protesting with demand for recruitment to vacant posts. Due to all this, the Directorate of Basic Education has sought permission from the government to recruit 68,500 posts.
The results of the TET on October 15 are to be released in November. After this, it is proposed to conduct written examination for recruitment of teachers in December. Certainly the process of recruiting such a large number of teachers will give great relief to the candidates. However, for these posts, a large number of education students are also in line with the BTC-TET passed candidates.
At present there are about 3 lakhs, 63 thousand teachers working in the state's schools. Apart from these, about 1 lakh, 67 thousand education students and 33 thousand instructional instructors are being taken in schools.
