Opposition to retire teachers in place of unemployed youth will oppose secondary teachers union

Teachers have opposed giving opportunity to retired teachers instead of youth. Om Prakash Sharma, the chairman of the Secondary Teachers Association and the leader of the teacher's party at the Legislative Council, has said that if the government does not withdraw the decision to appoint retired teachers in the supported schools, then the union will oppose it.

He said that soon a meeting of the union's state executive will be called a strategy in this regard. Shri Sharma has appealed to the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that the decision to fill 26,000 vacant posts with retired teachers in the aided schools is going to push the new generation into frustration. This decision will encourage them to push them towards some wrong thing.
