98 schools teachers get salary

Saraikela: The salary of 98 teachers of the district who have not passed the information of mid day meal through SMS has been stopped.

District Superintendent of Police Phoolmani Khalkho said that every day under the Mid-Day Meal Scheme conducted in the school, the school secretary has been directed to provide information to the district office through SMS, but MSN is not being provided by 98 schools of the district. But the payment has been stopped while taking action on them. DSE said that there are a total of 1661 schools in the district, out of which 1563 schools are being SMSed while the remaining 98 schools are not getting SMS. Government has instructed that 100% of schools have to get information through e-SMS. DSE pointed out that as long as the e-SMS does not subscribe, their pay will remain closed. In addition to repeated instructions, departmental action will not be initiated without SMS.
