Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP-TET) started on Sunday morning at 10 am. 1064 total 1634 centers have been set up for the first shift from 10 am to 12.30 am and for the second shift from 2.30 to 5 a.m. for the first shift.
Primary and upper primary level examinations are being conducted in the first and second shift respectively. Prior to the first shift from 10am, the question papers and OMR answer sheets were opened in the presence of magistrate at all the centers. Its videography is also done.
In the primary and upper primary level examination, 349192 and 627568 total 976760 candidates will be included. More than 72 thousand room inspectors have been set up to monitor the examination. A team has been installed at every three centers. Dr Sutta Singh, Secretary Examination Authority, says that the examination has begun. There is no information of any disturbances in the report of all the District School Inspectors. The answer sheet of the question paper will be uploaded on the website on 17th October.
Nearly 1.3 million education students are joining the primary level exam without getting education of teachers in TET primary schools, after being suspended for the post of Assistant Teacher in the examination for the first time.
