When 72,825 assistant teachers were recruited in UP's previous SP government, a large number of educationists were also involved in it. These were the educationists who had passed the TET. Education students were justified to be assistant teachers directly from recruitment and despite being selected in 72,825 assistant teachers, Kanni was cut from recruitment. In the Allahabad High Court, Arvind Kumar had filed a petition in this case. The hearing on which was heard by Justice PKS Baghel.
