Lucknow: Over 50 years of seniority in the government services for retirees, and forcible retirees
Chief Secretary Rajiv Kumar took initiative to make and fill vacancies through promotions, but the slowness of officers is hampering it. Despite repeated instructions, the officers are not listening. Once again, departmental heads have been given an opportunity to complete the work. The government has asked to complete the work till October 31 and make it available. 1 In order to ensure efficiency in government service, the government has directed to follow the rules applicable in 1985 to retire the retirement age of 50 years. Passive and corrupt officers and employees were retired in some departments, but despite the order of July 6, 2017, this arrangement could not yet be implemented in all departments. The Chief Secretary first gave the opportunity to 31 July and again 15 September. After this there was a chance till October 15, but it did not accelerate. On Monday, Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Trivedi issued a circular to all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries and said that the completion of compulsory retirement screening proceedings should be made available as soon as possible till October 31. On Monday, Trivedi issued another circular, in which he has reminded the chief secretaries of the last letters. Regardless of the instructions, all the vacancies for recruitment in all the departments were not computed by promotion and they were not filled up through promotion. Trivedi expects that all the vacancies to be filled through promotion will be completed by 31 October by the promotion process.
