The government had sought applications for seven posts of another member of the subordinate election commissioner's commission. This process was completed last month. Nearly two hundred people asked for president and five hundred to become a member. Even after completing their verification, the last list has not yet been made. Chief Secretary Rajiv Kumar says that "It is a priority work and it has to be completed as soon as possible." If the vacant posts are not filled up by promotion till October 31, then the officer will fill the vacant posts by October 1, If not, then the officers concerned can also take action. Chief Secretary Rajiv Kumar has convened a meeting on November 2 for this. The Chief Secretary had directed the Divisional Promotion Committee to complete the process by reciting the vacant posts filled with promotion. In spite of correspondence with the government on August 3, 8th September, 26th September and 16th October, the process could not be completed.
