BSA-Teachers Talk

Jagaran Reporter, Shamali: Due to the problems related to pay, the demonstration of teachers running on the basis of the Basic Education Officer's office continued on the third day. On the third day, the BSA called the teachers sitting on the dharna for talks, but the problem was not resolved. This led to the teacher returning to the house.

Based on the recommendation of the Sixth Pay Commission, the Pay Committee, 17 teachers of Shamli block have not been able to get increased pay scales. As a result, the teachers are sitting on an indefinite strike on the District Basic Education Officer's office. On the third day of demonstration on Thursday, BSA Chandrasekhar summoned teachers to his office for a conversation. During the conversation, teachers accused the department clerk and deliberately defended the department for not giving benefits to the teachers and kept their side on negligence of the department. BSA appealed teachers to finish the protest but did not get any conclusions on the problem, the teachers returned to the dharna. The statue, Ramendra, Ramkumar, Rashmi, Anita Malik, Uma Rani, Virendra Singh, Pramod Sharma, Brijesh Sharma, Arvid Tomar, Hemlata Verma were present on the fence.

Demanding to interfere with DM

In the demonstration of ongoing demonstration in the BSA office, teachers of Shamli block have demanded intervention of the DM in the matter by sending a request letter and file related evidence. Teacher Sunil Kumar told that he has sent the concerned file through steno to DM here. Victims are expecting that if DM takes cognizance in the case, then they can get justice quickly.
