Bihar Cabinet approves reservation for disabled people in government jobs and educational institutions

Bihar cabinet has approved reservations for people with disabilities in government jobs and educational institutions. Special Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Upendra Nath Pandey told reporters that during the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the cabinet approved it. Apart from this, two members of the State Legislative Assembly and one member of the State Legislative Council will also be a member of the Board, Pandey said. The Council of Ministers has decided to pay the allowances of the State Government employees according to the revised rates, Pandey said.

According to the revised rates, HRA now has 24 percent basic salary for employees posted in Delhi, 16 percent for those in Patna, 8 percent in district headquarters, six percent for those living in other cities and those posted in four rural areas For people, percentage of family planning allowance and special salary for the secretariat employees, such as in materials, engineering and research activities.
