Benefits of five schemes will be available to the children of workers: In order to avail the benefits of current schemes in the year 2017-18, submit applications by October 30

Allahabad: Some schemes have been conducted for the welfare of workers and their families working in the registered establishments and industrial factories under the Shops and Commerce Establishment Act, by the Labor Welfare Council.

In the financial year 2017-18, the workers can submit applications in the sub labor office to take advantage of the ongoing schemes. According to Deputy Labor Commissioner Rakesh Dwivedi, there is also a financial assistance scheme for getting the children and daughters of laborers into technical education. Under this scheme, for the certificate course, the workers will get a lump sum of Rupees five thousand for sons and daughters, eight thousand rupees for the diploma course and 10 thousand rupees for the degree course will get one lump sum. To avail this benefit, you can apply in sub labor office by October 30.

Similarly, for giving prize money to the meritorious children of workers who get 60 percent to 75 percent marks, they will receive a reward of Rs 5000 for those who earn more than Rs 3,000 and 75 percent marks. In this sequence, for the daughter-in-law marriage of the daughters of the workers, only two girls will get the benefit of the rate of fifteen thousand rupees per girl. All conditions must be met for this.

For the financial assistance of widows and dependents of deceased workers, the benefit of fifteen thousand rupees will be payable. For the widows and dependents of deceased workers financially for the funeral, they will get five thousand rupees within fifteen days to fulfill all the conditions.
