After remaining online counseling for the third phase of DLDE (formerly BTC) 2017, enrollment in 33 thousand 116 seats will now be on merit basis. Online counseling for college option started in October 27. Candidates can fill the online college option by 12 o'clock on October 29. They will allot the colleges on October 30. Dr. Sutta Singh, Secretary of the Examination Authority said that the seats of DLDE 2017 which have been vacant, whether they have been from any reserved category, have been converted into general. Now these seats will not be given as admission reservation, but candidates who fill the option of online colleges from October 27 will be allotted college based on merit considering them as a general candidate. The third phase of 1DLD has been completed on Wednesday. Of the candidates who had contested online counseling, 17 thousand 775 candidates were allocated colleges. After this, about 33 thousand 116 seats remained vacant. Candidates of all reserved categories who applied for the third phase of counseling for admission to DLE's two-year training course were given special opportunity.
