10 thousand teachers of Himachal Pradesh got huge relief, Supreme Court took this decision
More than ten thousand teachers appointed in schools in the state have received great relief from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has canceled all SLPs filed by the Himachal government in 2010-2011 in the pay scales case under the contract of 1996 and the paragraph 2003 policy on Tuesday.
In the Supreme Court, the matter was heard before a bench of Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel and Justice U Lalit. In the case of Baldev Singh and others in the year 2000, the State Administrative Tribunal passed a decision to pay leave salary to teachers appointed on contract after 1998.
In 2008, the High Court also got a decision in the right to the teachers. The government also paid the teachers' salary for the conditional vacations. At that time it was said that if the decisions are taken against the teachers in the future then the salary will be collected from the teachers.
After giving financial benefits to teachers, Himachal Government went to the Supreme Court in 2010. Referring to additional financial burdens, the government demanded through the SLP to recover from the teachers, which was rejected by the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
This decision has received great relief from the Supreme Court, about 3500 JBT, 5000 lecturer / PGT and 1967 para. Dhananjay Saini filed a petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Para teachers regarding this matter.
Hearing on computer teacher recruitment case
Meanwhile, the hearing in the state administrative tribunal has been postponed till October 18 when the matter has been started to fill 1191 posts of computer teachers in government schools in the state. On Tuesday, the Tribunal filed a reply in response to the government's recruitment process in this regard.
Government explained in the explanation that recruitment rules are being done accordingly. For this, the state cabinet has also given its approval. It is to be mentioned that the division bench of the tribunal VK Sharma and the administrative member Prem Singh had banned the recruitment on September 15 and within three weeks from the government.
According to the case, the petitioner Ravindra Kumar has made a plea to cancel the recruitment process of computer teachers from the state administrative tribunal. According to applicants, recruitment of computer teachers is being done by circumventing the rules.
In the recruitment only the interview has been made the main basis, whereas the interview has ended by the government itself. Apart from this, for the recruitment of computer teachers, it has been made mandatory to have a teacher experience of 5 years which is not logical.
