Law Reporter, Lucknow: The Lucknow bench of the High Court has ordered the State Government and Education Directorate to make available vacant posts in their department on the relevant website of the department. The court has asked to upload the details in six weeks. This order was given by Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra's Bench on a petition filed by Punit Jaiswal and two others. It has been argued that many posts in different districts are vacant in the Department of Basic Education, which should be filled through the waiting list but the department is not considering this. On hearing the case earlier, the court ordered the Education Director to file a personal affidavit. While submitting the affidavit in compliance with the order, the director informed the court that appointment letters have been distributed for 26 thousand 115 posts. Three thousand 219 are still empty. On this, the demand for uploading information of vacancies on the website has been demanded. The court acquitted the petition, giving an order to upload information of posts and vacancies filled in six weeks, as appropriate for his prayer, to the concerned departmental website.
