UP Government's crucial decision: TET can not become a teacher directly;

Lucknow: Several important decisions were taken in the meeting of the Uttar Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday. To become assistant teacher in primary schools, now written test after TET has also been made compulsory. After the Cabinet meeting, Government spokesman and energy minister Shrikant Sharma told the media that the Yogi Government is committed to providing quality education to children in primary schools. He said that the written examination will be given after the TET qualification. The marks of the written examination will also be added to the teacher recruitment merit.

Sharma said that now the basic teachers will be recruited through written examination in the state. 40 marks will be given for writing and 40 marks based on educational qualification. Only TET pass candidates can sit in the written examination.
