Property of crores made of two rooms
The small dera located in Sirsa was founded in 1948 by Shah Mastana Ji. At that time there were 2 rooms in a small dera. Shah Mastana Ji lived in one of these. These rooms were adapted to the underground life below. At that time there was no arrangement of AC, so these rooms used to stay warm in the summer and in winter.
Babaji's cave like this
The servant of Shah Mastana Ji used to call that room a cave at that time. His reasoning behind this was that Babaji remained absorbed in sadhana in solitary confinement in the cave. The tradition of this cave word is also prevalent till the time of Gurmeet Ram Rahim. It is said that during the time of Shah Mastana Ji, Dera had a total of 5 acres of land. Which has now increased to 1093 acres.
Ram Rahim was given a seat in 1990
In the year 1960, Sardar Harbans Singh resident of Jalalana, a village in Sirsa, Shah Mastana put his new name Shah Satnam on the throne. Saint Shah Satnam Ji, who handled this throne, carried forward the traditions of the dera and during his tenure, he also lived in this small tent. On September 23, 1990, Shah Satnam Ji handed over the throne to Ram Rahim.
